Doodle Jump
Games similar to Doodle Jump
Doodle Jump is the official version of the endless platform game where you bounce a little alien higher and higher up a never-ending tower of platforms. You play it free in the browser, moving side to side to land each jump and climbing for as long as you can.
It is one of those games that is simple to the point of looking trivial, then quietly eats an hour. Your character bounces automatically, so the whole game is about steering and knowing which boost or threat is coming next.

What is Doodle Jump?
Doodle Jump is an endless arcade platformer. Your alien jumps on its own, and you move it left and right to hit the next platform up. The screen scrolls with you as you climb, and the run ends the moment you miss and fall. There is no finish, so your score is simply how high you got before dropping off the bottom.
Controls
Doodle Jump uses two inputs: steer with the arrows and shoot to clear threats above you.
| Action | Control |
|---|---|
| Move left or right | Left and Right Arrow keys |
| Shoot upward | Left mouse button |
| Jump | Automatic on landing |
Boosts and obstacles
Climbing fast means grabbing the right boosts while avoiding the things that end your run.
| Item | Effect |
|---|---|
| Spring | Bounces you a bit higher than a normal jump |
| Rocket booster | Launches you a long way up |
| Propeller hat | Carries you upward for a stretch |
| Brown platform | Breaks on contact, so do not rely on it |
| Aliens and black holes | End your run if you touch them |
Tips to climb higher
- Line up under springs and boosters before you reach them, since a missed boost is a wasted climb.
- Move up cautiously near the top of the screen so you do not headbutt an alien you cannot see yet.
- Shoot aliens from below to clear a safe path before you jump into their space.
- Treat brown platforms as one-time steps; never pause your climb expecting them to hold.
Why the endless climb hooks you
Doodle Jump lasts because a run is short, a death is always your own fault, and your last score is sitting right there to beat. The boosts give you sudden bursts of progress, and the threats keep you from going on autopilot, so one more try always feels worth it.
