What is Jumping Clones?
Jumping Clones sits in the thinking end of the platformer genre. The game gives you clones that move together and asks you to guide them through platform layouts where a jump that helps one clone can send another into a hazard. Each level is a spatial puzzle wrapped in a jump-timing challenge. The appeal is that moment when you figure out the right sequence and everything lines up.

Puzzle structure and level logic
Each level presents a fixed layout of platforms, gaps, and obstacles. Your clones replicate your inputs, so a jump you make affects all of them at once. The challenge is finding the sequence of moves that guides every clone to safety or to the goal without any one of them falling or hitting a hazard. Levels start straightforward and gradually introduce new spatial twists that require you to think a few jumps ahead.
Tips for thinky levels
- Pause and look at the full layout before your first move. Knowing where each clone starts changes what jumps make sense.
- If a run goes wrong early, restart immediately rather than trying to recover. The level is designed around a specific solution path.
- Work backwards from the goal position: where does each clone need to land, and what jump gets them there?
- On mobile, the on-screen controls behave the same as keyboard inputs, so the logic is identical.
